One scan, straight into their contacts

A vCard QR code packs your name, number, email, and company into a single code. When someone scans it, their phone pops up a pre-filled "new contact" card — no typing, no typos, no lost business cards. Unlike most vCard generators, codes made here store your details inside the code itself, so they never expire and nothing routes through anyone's servers — including ours.

Where it shines

  • Business cards — the code turns a piece of paper into a saved contact. (See our business card sizing guide.)
  • Email signatures — people meeting you by email can save you to their phone in one scan.
  • Conference badges and name tags — networking without fumbling for cards.
  • Realtor signs and service flyers — "Scan to save my contact" beats hoping they'll remember your number.

Keep it lean

Every field you fill makes the code denser and the pattern finer. Name plus phone plus email produces a comfortable, forgiving code; adding company, title, and website is fine too, but print vCard codes a touch larger than URL codes — at least 1 inch on cards — and skip fields you don't need.

vCard QR code FAQ

What is a vCard QR code?

A QR code containing your details in vCard format — the universal standard both iPhones and Androids read. Scanning it opens a pre-filled "save contact" screen.

Does it expire?

Never. Your details live inside the code, not on a server — unlike many generators that disable "free" vCard codes unless you subscribe.

What if my details change?

Generate a new code with the updated info. That's the flip side of having no server dependency — the code can't be edited remotely, by you or anyone else.

Why does it look denser than other QR codes?

More data means a finer pattern. Fill only what you need and print it slightly larger for easy scanning.
